Classmates:
We are now just within 6 months of our 30th class reunion. The reunion
planning committee is busy putting together all the events and goodies for
the short time you will be here in the New London area. Isn't it about time
you started the planning for your travel and lodging?
To help you out a little in this effort, provided you are not staying with
friends or classmates, I have put together some hotel info to aid in your
planning. We have chosen the Mystic Hilton as our headquarters. Some of
you may remember it from the 25th. Renovations have been made since your
last visit. This is where we will be holding the dinner/dance on Saturday
night and is close to Seaman's Inne where our Friday night get-together will
be held. It is also not far from the Academy. We have blocked rooms at the
Hilton for those who are interested. The room rate is $149 per night. Just
indicate the "Class of 73 Reunion" when you call. The closest airport at
about 40 miles is TF Green in Providence, RI.
As most of the events center around Mystic, I will start there and work out
with information on other hotels. This came from Travelocity if you are
